Nowadays, an increasing number of cities have bike lanes. However, sometimes these bike lanes are not safe enough. Cars sometimes cross over the lines and cause an accident. Some cities want to prevent this from happening, so they are building walls and other barriers around the bike lanes. It can leave less room for cars, but it is much safer for cyclists.
